ABOUT
Hi, I'm Fran - a multi-skilled independent Website Designer, specialising in creating websites from scratch, including original copy and business branding.
With a background in screenwriting (with awards from BAFTA Rocliffe & John Brabourne) my passion for design work began when building my own website.
During the pandemic, I helped multiple businesses build their brands by designing their websites, brand identity and copy. I love designing and feel very honoured that I get to help businesses present themselves in today's competitive market.
Using the latest web integrations I am proud to offer web services that go above and beyond. Something that sets my services apart from other designers is my personalised tutorials upon delivery. I believe strongly in empowering clients with the tools needed to be able to make their own edits and updates should they desire. This gives clients the power to take charge of their site. Whilst plenty of clients return to me for update services, they should have options and I'm proud to offer them.

Websites can feel quite daunting at first but they really don't need to.
Using the latest technology and integrations, I offer modern and timeless designs. With access to thousands of copyright free images should you need.
Keeping design, development and copy all in one place, my aim is to make it as easy as possible for you to have a website that helps showcase your business.

HOW IT WORKS
Fill in a form about your business needs. During a follow up meeting we'll expand on your answers. This helps me to fully understand your goals for your website whilst also discovering your target audience, visual style, tone & business voice.
You'll receive a selection of templates & styles of websites for reference. This helps refine the vision of the site you want. This step really helps to narrow down preferences &
inspiration.
Once the brief is clear & all parties are happy, I start building your site. You will receive a checklist of materials needed, such as testimonials, photos, bios, contact details/business address or any other agreed upon elements you want on your site.
Once I've laid down the foundations of your website, I then start adding copy. I will refine & amend any existing copy, aesthetically placing it on your site. You can then give your notes and suggestions & I will amend as necessary.
Once all the relevant materials have been supplied & have been added to the site, it's time for feedback. You will receive a viewing link. Once I have your feedback I will implement your notes. By this stage we're very close to your website being finished. After I've amended any requested changes. You'll have an additional opportunity to make any updates before we sign off.
Once you've signed off on your website design, it's time to launch! I will guide you through this next step, as you'll need to set up a business account to the hosting site directly. I will transfer your website to your newly created account. We can then publish your site and connect your domain. Now it's time to launch and get your website online.
After checking that everything is up and running as it should be, I will then record personalised tutorials to help you navigate your new website. This allows you the control to make updates in the future yourself, at no extra cost to you.
Completion! Congratulations, you now have a beautiful new website that you can advertise to the world. I'll be here if you need help with anything else in the future. From website updates to business document designs.
WEBSITE DESIGN
Each client's needs vary and my bespoke services reflect this. Below are the main website formats I provide, to help you refine what you might need.
Ident
Idents act like a sign in a shop window. It simply says 'Coming Soon' and holds space for your website whilst you are getting ready. This allows users to know that they've come to the right address; they're just early to the party and you're still getting ready.
Landing Page
A branded 'Under Construction' website including business content, contact boxes and a call to action. Meaning that your business can function and bring in clients before your full website is up and running. The Landing Page will have the feel and brand of your website to come.
One Page Site
This is a perfect style of website for smaller business's with less content. Instead of having menu tabs that take you to new pages, there are anchors that take you to various areas of the same page. These websites are very effective and this TFF page is a good example of a One Page Website.
Full Website
A full website is the most popular service I provide and includes up to 5 pages of content. Typically
